Album cover makes it a little difficult to click on links to Treat Me Right while at work and to listen to the live streaming takes some careful scrolling in an open plan office.

i don't think i want to live in a world where boobies being on show is a bad thing

showing tits is not a bad thing, just doesn't have to be on the cover of techno music. worse part is its trying so hard to look arty and cool but actually reflecting the exact opposite.

I think RA rating is accurate 3/5 = Don't bother listening, there are so many other music out there. I will not buy this either.

As for the cover, I don't see what the problem is, girl on all fours, probably looking for a dropped contact lens when all of a sudden the hair gets in the face...

Hardly an offensive cover...

As for the album, there are a number of tracks on there that would get repeat plays... Nothing near as good as Working Nights (prefer his low slung stuff) but certainly an album worth having (in a lot of circles).

But seriously. The ethical move would be to do face techno. Of course I prefer face and tits and ass and hips and feet techno. But we are not ready for that. Too much blowback for just the tits.

it doesn't feel mysoginistic because there's nudity, but because it looks like a stock photo which was taken only so that somebody else could get people's attention and sell something. think of how different the reaction might be with a naked man, and of what they are expecting about every customer who would buy this. yes, there's nothing wrong with nudity, but we live in a world with enough gender inequality that it feels like a certain kind of statement, even if it isn't.

if this was someone who took a casual snapshot during sex, rather than hiring a model, or if there was anything about the photo that was artistically new and interesting or even FUN then it probably wouldn't annoy so many people. there's just nothing notable about this cover except that someone decided to use it.

If this was presented in a different way the reaction would have totally different.

rate 3 is not bad mark, but there are so many other music out there, I heard the tune and more or less agree with RA comment, will not buy this.

For me the album cover is affected by the music it presents. In the case of Sigha: dark techno + boobs = unpleasant-in-good-way album cover. In the case of cheesy house collection: cheesy house + boobs = "sexy" album cover. Don't know if that is wrong or right, though.
