| #1 / Thu, 20 Dec 12 14:58 Speakerbox Saturday 2nd February 2013 Great Suffolk Street Warehouse, SE1 9pm - 6am Chase and Status DJ set Pendulum DJ Set MistaJam Killsonik DECiBEL DJ Cable MistaJam has been a great ambassador for the UK’s electronic music scene over the last few years, pushing forward underground artists and producers across all platforms. His brand Speakerbox, following a successful launch year in 2012 which saw festival stages, international club nights and intimate showcases alike; provides a balance of established names alongside the hottest up and comers. Refusing to be kept to one sound Speakerbox reflects a diverse range of electronic styles and a presentation of the most cutting edge sounds. Bass crossover kings Chase & Status have today been announced to kick off Speakerbox’s first event of 2013. They will join our head honcho MistaJam and Pendulum to descend on the mother of all London warehouse rave spaces that is the mammoth Great Suffolk Street warehouse on 2 February. Teaming up with warehouse specialists LWE, who have been behind some of the capital’s biggest events of the last twelve months, including Skrillex’s first UK show, to take over the many monstrous arches of Great Suffolk Street warehouse. Chase & Status need no introduction. 2012 saw the duo smash venues all over the world and we are delighted to have them kick off our first event of the year. Joining them will be Pendulum. Few producers have had as such widespread success across the board as these and you can expect an electric and captivating DJ set from one of bass music’s most well known acts. Heading up the main room will be our heavy-hitter, MistaJam. Constantly flying the flag for underground influenced UK producers and artists, MistaJam’s shows on BBC Radio 1Xtra and BBC Radio 1 have paved the path for many underground producers to get airplay. Effortlessly joining the dots between dubstep, UK funky, grime, hip hop, r&b, drum & bass, house, reggae, dancehall and everything in between, MistaJam has built up the respect of artists and fans across these sub genres. We’re taking it back to basics, in this raw industrial space, making it all about the music and bringing the bass in style this February. Further support, provided by some of the most exciting and up-and-coming talent in the scene, will be announced soon. | #8 / Mon, 21 Jan 13 11:13 (Edited: 21 Jan 13 11:24) B.Traits, Gorgon City, Roses Gabor and more join the Speakerbox warehouse partyWith two weeks to go until Speakerbox’s first party of the year at Great Suffolk Street warehouse in London, they have announced BBC Radio 1 DJ B. Traits will headline room 2. The BBC Radio 1 DJ and first lady of Digital Soundboy will be joined by Speakerbox head honcho MistaJam, fresh from his set in the main room, who will return to the decks on the same night to play an exclusive house set. The polished, powerful and party-minded Gorgon City, comprised of Foamo & RackNRuin, have been confirmed to play as well as emerging artist Roses Gabor. Kry Wolf will also play and with their productions ranging from house, garage, tech and funky, they’ve drawn admirers from some of the most prominent people in bass music, including Zinc, Mary Anne Hobbs, A-Trak and Sub Focus. The duo of SecondCity powered into 2013 in style with a series of free downloads, such as You Feel and A1 and will showcase their house driven bass vibes in the second room. Rounding up room 2 on the night will be sets from Speakerbox residents Majestic and Bitr8. Majestic has been at his busiest in the studio over the last few months. Towards the end of 2012, he released his free Let’s Go Back EP on Speakerbox and will also feature on Laidback Luke’s next single, Pogo. He’ll also be releasing a new EP with a classic acid house edge on Speakerbox in the coming months. While he’s a producer, songwriter, MC & multi instrumentalist, he’s also a brilliant DJ and it will be a DJ set party-goers will get from Maj in room 2 for the label’s first party of 2013. Bitr8 has been the face behind the Speakerbox radio show on Ministry of Sound Radio since it started and every week he takes fans on a one-hour journey into the bass bins of what Speakerbox is about. Expect his DJ set on the night to be a representation of his radio show and what Speakerbox is about as a brand. The second room announcement follows the main room line-up revealed in December that will see Chase & Status (with Rage) headline with sets from Pendulum (with Verse), MistaJam, KillSonik, DECiBEL and DJ Cable play at the warehouse party. Speakerbox are starting 2013 with a statement of intent: taking it back to basics, in a raw industrial space, making it all about the music and bringing the bass in style this February. Hi. this is an 18+ event and the ticket sites should state this. Where did you buy your tickets from? Please go back to the vendor and ask for a refund, as we will be checking all ID at the venue.

| #10 / Mon, 28 Jan 13 17:57 Speakerbox Warehouse Party is fast approaching and the excitement is building here at LWE HQ.
Standard tickets have now sold out and we are releasing a final batch of tickets priced at £25 (+bf) but with entry from 9pm to 11pm only.
This will be a very busy event so we have decided that our final release of tickets are for early entry ONLY. The staggered entry will help with queuing on the door and for the cloakroom. This is something we have decided to do to ensure the smooth running of the event and to reduce the need to queue on arrival.
We expect these tickets sell out quickly: www.londonwarehouseevents.co.uk

| #19 / Fri, 01 Feb 13 21:12 Please be aware that we will be checking all ID at this event. Please also bring the card you booked with. Do not buy tickets from strangers, as these are often copies and we will have to deny entry if they are.
Please do not drive to Great Suffolk Street for our Cocoon event on Saturday. There is no parking on any of the nearby roads. We recommend arriving to Southwark or London Bridge Tube or using the local bus network. Please also keep a careful eye on your smart phone at all times on the night. Looking forward to seeing you all there - This is going to be one hell of a party!
