A word-of-mouth favourite in Berlin for the past few years, Rødhåd's extended techno sets are about to see him break out to an international audience.

Very nice piece. He seems like a humble guy.

I saw him come on unannounced at berghain about 2 years ago in the afternoon and he played one of the best techno sets i've heard in there.

I had to ask some friends who this bearded techno viking was

"I'll be playing records that are bringing [the energy] down, and I'll be standing there smiling while I'm putting the next record on. I'm thinking to myself, 'Everyone will freak out if I play this.' So you're standing in the booth smiling, and no one knows what the next step is. Then you drop this bomb."

This sums up playing out for me. Love it.

"I'm happy with the guys and my boss is really cool. They all know I play at Berghain, so if I play on a Sunday they'll let me take some time off on the Monday."

Met Rodhad after a set he did at Concrete at Paris. One of the best techno set i've seen. He s a very nice and humble guy.

A very good DJ and producer also. Long live Rodhad/Dystopian.

He is the best - heard him play in Brooklyn and I was blown away.

dystopian parties are great and a welcome alternative in a city that is saturated with house parties (albeit many of them being quality also) and pretty much the only regular fixture where you can enjoy absolutely quality techno outside of berghain. so big up to rodhead and dystopian!

Seen him close Berghain in the summer. A true savage, definitely going places.

Nice to see Rodhad getting more recognition. Great DJ and nice guy. I've seen him play a couple of times now and definitely a favorite.

And the world keeps getting purified with people how know the purpuse of techno big up for Dystopian crew(and don't forget Grounded Theory!) Quality will win the battle!

Saw him in Berghain in July, playing Sunday 10am-8pm or something. Absolutely blew me away. Proper Sunday afternoon techno (from a man who LOOKS like a proper techno DJ).

really started paying close attention to him towards the beginning of last year after my first Dystopian party - incredible deejay with a great ear for techno. one of my favorites whenever I left Berlin - reading this makes me want to go back!

I remember seeing him close Berghain for NYE last year and at CLR Nacht at Arena the night before. I also remember seeing him play in Berghain the first or second time I was there ever...so, in summary, I have many extraordinary memories of seeing him play!
