it would be good to have an 'alternative' sets stage where the guys can play anything they want away from the branded stages for something a bit different

trust me... not their fault Hi - I heard the reasons behind it too but the fact is they took a lot of money from a lot of people for VIP tickets and gave them a muddy tent, some chairs taken from a skip, a badly understaffed bar that took half an hour to get served at and a couple of portaloos. This sounds like it will be a good event but just don't expect any more than great DJs and some speakers in a field. There's nothing wrong with that but if people that are thinking of VIP (or even camping) it's worth knowing that there's a big difference between doing a night in a club and doing a full on festival and these guys let a lot of people down last time.

If you heard the reasons behind it, and believe them, then what leads you to believe it will happen again? I worked behind the scenes with the team that ran the site before EE came. It was a royal fucking mess, I'm surprised / impressed they managed to pull it off at all. They also officially apologized for not being able to deliver some of the stuff they promised, because they were counting on others to have it built already (at least, that was the deal). It's pretty much like Bloc being promised by Pleasure Gardens that the site would be ready before the festival. Only we didn't have a riot, we actually had something that worked, minus the VIP and one stage.
