Next @ Klubnacht
Love Jerome! I'm surprised that as a big fan of his productions, this is the first time I'm hearing a mix of his. Loving it so far.

Jerome is a guy that was there before the beginning of it all, beyond just seeing it all. He broke in the group Ten City. NYC forever!

Didn't think it was possible for anything to top the Joy O mix, but this is definitely a high contender!
Great track selections, great podcast.

Very good mix, those Jerome Sydenham Edits are great. I hope that edit for Psyk be released.

I remember his two CD mixes from the mid 00's were pretty much full of essential music

Nice mix, my favorite part was the second half when it started getting more of a techno vibe, and the Ane Brun remix at the end is really good.

Nice. Good to have a mix that probably won't sound dated in a years time. Nothing trendy or "cool" in this mix. Just a proper collection of house and techno.

Great mix. Anyone else notice a negative correlation between widespread name recognition and the quality of the podcast? Art Department on one end of the spectrum and this Jerome Something-or-other on the other end.

OMG 58 minutes?!

What was he thinking...

Good thing you let everyone know you won't be listening to such short mixes anymore. You told em good!

This podcast is:
boring, useless to dive in mr. Sydenham's music, uninteresting, uninspiring.

There is nothing wrong with his mix technique, track selection or his own production. Actually there are 10 000 mixes (minimum) like this on internet right now, that sounds just like this one. If I want to know more about this mr. Jerome Syndeham I would rather try to find something else. This is waste of my time!
I'm sorry Jerome Sydenham and RA stuff.

ummm... art department are mainly famous among kids who jumped the nu-disco house (or whatever you wanna call hot creations and the likes) bandwagon recently, thinking that kind of "house" music is just the new cool. most people who have been around the block a little more often probably know jerome sydenham and what he has contributed... (i don't mean to address you personally though.)

solid mix, "conservative" in the best possible way.

...and jack had a groove.
What a stunning mix. Just lovely !

What can a DJ tell or teach me in 58 Minutes? Always seems to me just like an appetizer. I still enjoy DJ Nature's RA taking me on a journey of deep and disco (almost 2h).
Just my 2 cents
Peace

Solid mix, if lacking a little sparkle, or a real wow moment. His edit of Atol reminds me how good that record is. I've just got home and played the Downwards original. Jesus, it was 1995. Fuck. I feel old. Like a steady old veteran then...

Second half of tracklisting looks interesting.
Jerome is a sound guy. My friend and I got a proper bollocking in a funny yet deadly serious way from him when we met him in berghain and he found out we were leaving Berlin in a few hours and it was only Sunday. Apparantly it's a Tuesday minimum leaving day if you go for the weekend in jeromes rules.

not many can tell you something in 58 minutes, but that's because 99.9% suck horribly...the ones that can are the true dj's. this mix didn't do much for me...this is just a collection of tracks.

I had no idea the RA podcasts were supposed to "tell" or "teach" me something. All this time I was under the impression I was just supposed to listen to them and hopefully enjoy a few. I'll now eagerly await future mixes of tracks that somehow aren't a collection of tracks.

Danced in the lower lounge to Jerome in the early 90s at Nell's. He was part of the A&R team under Craig Kallman at Big Beat/Atlantic. I was there too. Lots of respect. With that said, mixed feelings on this one.
