| #0 / Thu, 24 Jan 13 19:50 I have to go three pages deep to get to the people that I follow, and then when I get there they aren't listed in alphabetical order? That, and other things suck, too. Is there some amazing redeemable quality about this redesign that I'm missing? I guess it's nice to be able to search around while still listening to a track, but other than that I'm not digging it. So there.

| #1 / Sun, 27 Jan 13 18:01 i had an account with them for about two years and few tunes and my set on there. Some day they hide my tunes and set and sent me an email that they will show me MINE music if I buy premium account.

| #2 / Sun, 27 Jan 13 19:43 I managed to switch back to the classic set-up after being seriously unimpressed with the new soundcloud. Now it's just a case of avoiding clicking on the option to go back again to the new one!

| #5 / Fri, 08 Feb 13 12:16 It's been a while, but I think there is a "more" button on the upper right that opens up another menu. Within that menu, you can click on "go back to soundcloud classic".
If I've mis-remembered this, it's something along those lines.

| #6 / Fri, 08 Feb 13 12:56 All They Had To Do Was Tweek The Classic Soundcloud a Little, Instead They Go The Full 9 Yards Into Disaster , Soundcloud , Facebook and Twitter should team up and make one super concept make it easier for the djs, producers and listeners

| #7 / Sat, 09 Feb 13 02:51 A soundcloud rep told me via email that they were first focusing on the listener perspective, then they were going to fold in all of the concerns of the artists and content providers.
Let's hope they're serious about that. I'm glad at least that they haven't forced anyone to switch yet, and speaking of that the aforementioned rep avoided the question of whether or not they would in the future. I'm betting they will eventually force our hands rather than provide support for what would essentially be two different websites, right?

| #8 / Wed, 13 Feb 13 13:47 I quite like it to be honest, not had any complaints so far for what I use it for.

| #9 / Wed, 13 Feb 13 14:23 not feeling it. biggest complaints:
- continuous play; wouldn't care as much if it just segued into next "sound" on the label/artist/user's page but dislike when i'm on a track page and it moves to some arbitrarily "related" track/set
- commenting...you don't see replies to individual comments on the "sound" page; on the "comments" page of any individual track, nothing is timestamped
do like the new frame setup that allows browsing while sounds are playing

| #10 / Mon, 04 Mar 13 11:14 From what we can see - the new soundcloud better caters for listeners and discoverers of music - your average user. While the old (in our opinion preferred) soundcloud MUCH better suits the user who is posting, sorting, categorising and uploading their music.
We find it very hard to manage our music in the new soundcloud.

| #11 / Thu, 07 Mar 13 01:15 I agree with the above poster. Great for new discovery, quite difficult for the content creators. I can appreciate the continuous play, retweets etc., but the website generally takes longer for me to load as well, doesn't feel "slick".
Not the best user experience.

| #14 / Wed, 20 Mar 13 18:28 I just started really using soundcloud and I love the old design. There are certain aspects of the new design that are awesome but I like the old design much more. Also, there seems to be issues with the search function on the new design.

| #15 / Sat, 30 Mar 13 13:39 it crashes and closes safari every time you input login details, also when you click "your stats" it opens a new tab, why would I wanna do that? I'm navigating through 1 same site.

| #16 / Mon, 01 Apr 13 01:16 (Edited: 1 Apr 13 01:36) It works with my browser (firefox) fine. I have no problem with the redesign of the site. It's better in many ways. What I do have a problem with is all of the people on it who literally just kill the comments feature of soundcloud with incessant dribble. *OMG 343@@* *This drop is nasty!!!* *My ears are killing themselves...ARRRGHH YOLO!!! SWAG* *GReat song....check out my remix of this song and my page here (shameless self-promotion* And this...today they premiered....THE DROPMETER!!!! blog.soundcloud.com/2013/04/01/dropometer edit: april fools!

| #18 / Thu, 04 Apr 13 16:30 Speaking from a developer standpoint, there is always a push to forge ahead, even if things aren't broken. But time has shown most major design overhauls to popular services are eventually forgotten, just like terms of service. Point? Soundcloud is relatively awesome, and I don't think they did anything here horrendous. More of just a play to newer coding standards. Cheers.
