Kinda looks like a very long simmered companion piece to the 2003 Stereonerds 'HD Endless' album.

+1

This sounds rad as hell. :)
dragons.mouth: I don't know if these tracks would work on vinyl with all the crazy stereo spread in the bass? Might make the needle jump?

'riding the void' is a masterpiece. The production is more than awesome!

Atom TM - HD cover
RA Review
It's a curious twist of fate that HD , Uwe Schmidt's long-simmering new album as Atom TM, comes out on the same day as the new Justin Timberlake record. Schmidt makes spindly computer music for a highly conceptual German experimental label, and Timberlake is, needless to say, one of the planet's mo..

The album I've been waiting for since Lassigue Bendthaus's 'Render'!

It's like this album mixes some of Uwe Schmidt's previous monikers. Lassigue Bendthaus, LB (the Pop Artificielle album) and Atom ™. There's the Lassigue Bendthaus/LB Kraftwerk obsession, the LB cover attitude (My Generation, but even Empty is a clear tribute to Daniel Miller's Warm Leatherette) and the experimentation of some radical Atom ™ projects. And some tracks sounds like outakes from (obviously) Kraftwerk's Electric Cafe.

This is great. Kraftwerk's romantic ressurection in new Era. Not for fuckn' comments here. :)

I'm really glad Atom TM has found a home at Raster Noton. I was sad to hear about Peter Kuhlmann's passing last year, but my sadness was only compounded to hear that rather interesting would close its doors as well.

This album is awesome as ever.

I'd really like to hear atom cover some 21st century pop. Classic rock of the 70s is dope and all but...

This is something to get excited about! 2013 has been slow to get going IMO, with a lot of introspective LP's released. This is fun and creative production. Thumbs up!

Funny how everyone's falling all over each other here...I thought this album was boooring.

:foghorn:

The worst aspects of minimal and late 80's... cold wave?

Whatever: RA reviews! hah.

This sounds very good. Just ordered it. Hugely similar to Kraftwerk though. Can't understand why that wasn't mentioned more.
