smelling (sp?) Personally i disliked this mix. It starts alright but goes badly wrong from 15 minutes in - funky house, and not very good (?) funky house at that either. Electronica for people who were "into" Bros/Milli Vanilli "because their mates were" imo.

I like the mix a lot, feedback is wicked, but I would not describe it as 'funky house' in a million years - I know funky house and - that - aint. do you mean the disco track?

Now it's not on par with the Troy Pierce mix (still gets played weekly - mix of the year imo), but if you listen closely it's actually a very eclectric style of playing; very distinctive. Serge really is one of the brighter talents to watch i reckon. It's good to have a podcast with a bit more ooomf. And it'll be good to have serge playing oz in june. And Metro... I'm glad you "suppose".

 'ello hun ... let me clarify my view: technically the mix is fine yada yada yada. Guess we more or less expect that these days, right? ('cept certain producers still learning to beat match *coughs* no names no pack drill *coughs*) But my overall impression programming-wise is: terrace fodder. "Nice enough" house set. You're never going to have "one of those moments" to this music - one that's imprinted in your soul for the rest of your days. I guess I'm disappointed when music doesn't at least have that potential. Though lJ agreed about the series needing more "oomph" and variety also, and at least heading in the right direction
