| #6 / Thu, 31 Jan 13 16:04 I thought this was funny, I don't get the chance to bash on EDM, because I actually have friends who enjoy this kind of shity music, so it's nice to vent my frustration here.

| #8 / Thu, 31 Jan 13 20:58 "EDM" has become such a joke that it is no longer fun to hate on it anymore... I am not sure if I feel sad for it or if is some sort of sick joke that the masses are all in on

| #9 / Thu, 31 Jan 13 22:41 As the author of this particular review, I feel I should probably comment here. This article definitely was 'shooting fish in a barrel', there is no denying that. But it was too good an opportunity to do something very far beyond my usual writing style to pass up. If anyone has ever read my other articles, you'd know what I typically cover and how I typically like to express myself.
Myself and my editors knew that it was going to be full of commercial music, poor mixing and a terrible crowd - we've seen enough footage from his shows to know what to expect. This is exactly why I was sent along - I was a fish out of water. It was NEVER intended to be a case of 'Andrew, go check out Pauly D and let us know what you think', it was always a case of 'oh dear, this should be a trainwreck, you have to go, Andrew'.
I would like to point out also that I DID do a fair bit of research on him before going to the event - watched/read interviews, watched as much footage of his sets as I could etc. I didn't go in totally blind and that may well have coloured my expectations, but to be honest, even if I had gone with absolutely no idea who he was, I imagine I'd still have felt exactly the same way by the end of it (the only part that probably would have been different was the opening).

That certainly was a well written comment. My two cents. You see how that added nothing
