They have some other decent venues.
I'm hoping they'll use the place they did in November, that was a good space

will this event be at the new club opening march 15 called 'TBA Brooklyn' or is the location yet to be determined?

having this event at Output would be the best possible scenario as it has the sickest sound system my ears have ever been graced with

I think big names will need to be at legit spots like they have been for some time now. Just too much at stake to have a huge party/DJ shut down. I don't think they'll ever abandon tba parties....that's who they are any they love switching it up and keeping it fresh

I really liked the warehouse space BLK used not that long after the Sasha bust-up last year, but for the life of me can't remember what or when...

Just nice not ending up "living" in one venue, even it it's Output.
(at Cielo a little while back, the casher lady asked me if I come to all of their events, LOl, (and I hadn't even been there for a bit).

hope its not at output this time. Their g-men security task force turned down our Ben Klock tickets when my friends (who came from out of town) and I showed up before 4 - apparently the doors shut for the night. wish that info had been made clear from the outset. Not cool.

I've arrived there late too, but never quite that late, new to me as well.

True enough that at the very least it ought to be announced, and I have not seen it as an announced policy, and unlike the no-pics thing, there isn't anything posted at Output either.

I don't think that was the door crew's capricious abuse (see below), so far they have seemed very professional and courteous to me, more likely some instruction from higher up.

Recently at another promoter's event, I was denied re-entry even though the inside guard had said it would be ok, to and from the official smoke-area no less.
That promoter did act appropriately, and apparently some of the staff that abused patrons were even let go.

So, promoters do listen, and in the past BLK has been one of those.

I honestly do not understand those shut-door policies at all:
you have a ticket, the event is still going, so why NOT let ticketed people in?
Event actually ended about 6:15 BTW.

that's going to be confusing going forward.
Postings should use "tba" for as yet to be announced/determined venues, as opposed to "TBA Brooklyn" for the 395 Wythe spot.

Even more confusing because TBA is associated to some of BLK's principals to my knowledge.

But in this case, the venue is way to small for the crowd.
RA shows 176 attending at this point, and that is more than the permit capacity of TBA Brooklyn...

this is happening at a underground location not at TBA brooklyn.

you all should know better by now if you're following blkmkt and an ida extended set, this is going well into the morning so bring your sunglasses as most of the legit venues have 5-6 closings, i expect ida to go until 7 and it can only happen in the underground. deep dark sexy techno only in the underground where it belongs

how was this party? wish i coulda made it =(

the party started out alrght but by the time Ida came on, the place was packed and it felt like a boiler. they held in a warehouse that had no ventilation, no windows. The music was great but it was hard to enjoy in 100° temperature. Everybody was sweating and it got worse with the weed smell and smoking.

It was really hot but that's the blkmarket charm.

I just want to add that it sounded great. Really glad you guys are working with the SBS Shorty guys. I mean it was club level quality sound.

Neo95gt we have bought that system, I know its a beast & it sounded great this past weekend. We used this venue for the first time and had no idea it will get this hot.

Def will not forget to get the FANS next time.

Nice investment. Hope that place had an elevator cause not sure how you got all that shit up the stairs.

Summer months are always an uphill battle with the heat. I suggest a lot of club/outside events. I remember in the Sunset Park location you guys had fans and portable AC units and it was still hot as balls in there. I think that's where Adam and Ida spin first for you guys so hopefully Ida was used to the Blkmarket style
