Sleezy - I dont suppose you think that in February / March, around the same time that the line up for Dimensions Festival is announced that it may be a good time to raise awareness of the festival by holding a warm up event ? That people choosing to go to Croatia for a festival, generally do so in advance, like 6/7 months in advance when buying tickets ? That the huge amount of money needed to stage the events in London and in Croatia needs some support from everyone involved in that festival which is why we are staging the event to do our part ?

Any idea of where this is being held yet? Or just an area of London would be good to know....

There are some important things to remember ahead of Friday:

We will be using the RA Bar Code Tickets so you must bring a print out of your tickets. No print out, no entry. 

There will be a cash only bar.

There will be a fully staffed cloak room. 

Please arrive early to avoid big queues and guarantee entry.

last time i was at that venue my clothes got covered in white paint like stuff and the heat/aircon was unbearable

Ahh, the same venue where the Dixon Boys' Own party was. Venue was great that night so should be fine!

The air con broke down on the opening weekend in August but it was replaced with a brand new system which covers the whole venue, it should be very comfortable throughout

ok what about the white paint? My trainers altho shit (clubbing only) were ruined beyond ruined, and i had to soak my jeans twice!

Also the toilets are oppo the bar - bottlenecks
corridor+stairs to smoking area - potential overcrowding hazard

There are lots of toilets

there is a huge double door way connecting both rooms on the opposite of the building to the toilets which will be kept open all night so two entrances between the two rooms

black studio for music

white studio at the front will house the main bar and a seating area

air con is tip top and a new system installed post august which cost a lot of money !!

The white cove is covered for each event to protect the floor and the paint.

We hang thick black material in the main space to treat the acoustics in the main room so sound wise, it will be more than on point

We have a massive sound system being installed with no noise restrictions

so i think its all taken care of, we hope : )

EM - Great response and appreciate the changes from the Ostguton night which was in fact one of the parties of last yr for me

As you will no doubt understand, this will also please the wife which in turn makes my life much easier

Any tickets on the door btw? Kind of fancy this now I know the venue (as it was spot on for the Dixon night) but won't decide until the day.

We will have an allocation of tickets for sale from 10pm, not loads but we're holding some back for the door : )

yes of course but it goes on - but ppl exchange on here all the time that cannot be denied - all depends on whether card details need be produced on the night otherwise its common practise

ND2013 - Unfortunately not - its a bit hit and miss these days and why i have not tried to sell them really. of course i would be happy to pass them over and trust that person to pay up later as im too far away to just 'pop' over and drop them off.

We will be scanning all tickets so if it shows up that the ticket has already been used, we'll be asking for ID and a matching credit card. So I think its up to you if you want to try and sell / buy : )

it's all abit mean isnt it - no refunds if you cant make it and now u cant just sell on to soneone else if you cant make it. i dont think there's much touting going on here and of course the promoters want to sell their tickets but its a bit of a shame for the honest punter who just cant bloody well make it and they have to lose £20-30

we dont make the rules im afraid, if you want to sell your tickets we're not saying do it and we're not saying dont do it, just know that we have to scan all the tickets, check card details and if we find duplicates then we'll refuse admission to that person.

understand the frustration but there are no ticket outlets that offer refunds, RA, Club Tickets, Ticket Master - its the same with all ticket agents and we have to agree to their terms.

It comes down to the fact that few people know each other from Adam on here. How trustworthy is a faceless handle on a forum on the interwebs?
The barcode system was introduced to minimise risk of duplicates attempting to make it into the venue.

Second hand buyers buy at their own risk that the seller hasn't sold it on to 10 other people and also still turns up at 10pm to make sure they still get in themselves before all the duplicates arrive...

Still don't know if checking card details only occurs in the case of a duplicate, or every time. EM's first post on the subject suggests only if a duplicate, but the last one makes it seems like its standard practice - "we have to scan all the tickets, check card details and if we find duplicates then we'll refuse admission to that person"...

we cant comment guys, its up to you if you want to buy and sell your tickets. we will be scanning all tickets, if a duplicate comes up then we have to refuse entry if you dont have the card to back up the purchase

I reckon it'll be only for duplicates - it's pretty rare to see places checking every single card, I don't recall seeing it at all. It'd take forever!

How much for? I'm looking to buy only one probably since I need 3 total and someone else here has already offered two.
