For Sale is my Denon DN-X1600 4 Channel DJ Mixer, bought brand new from decks.co.uk around 24 months ago (I think...will check the receipt later). As per my other listing for CDJ 400's I am downsizing my set-up due to lack of space.
This mixer is an absolute beast, the sound and build quality is simply amazing and there are so many customisable features that you will never get bored of it.
Unfortunately I've never used this to it's very full potential and therefore can't really warrant having such an expensive piece of kit when it gets used only once or twice a month. I'm sure there are some far more talented DJ's out there who could really put this to better use!
The mixer is in superb condition and has seen minimal bedroom use, there are some very light suface scratches near the Ch1/Ch2 faders but they're barely visible and certainly don't detract from the look, feel or performance. It comes complete with original box, leads, manuals, CD-Rom for PC installation. I probably even have the original receipt (May still be under warranty, will check).
While this is primarily marketed as a stand alone DJ mixer, I have recently been using it with Traktor, it's one of the few mixers on the market to have official Traktor Certification so there is no need for the audio-4/6/10 device. You plug the mixer into your laptop via USB, select the x1600 from the drop down list in Traktor and away you go. Simples! Virtually every control, fader, knob on this mixer is midi mappable so you can completely customise their use. Read up on some of the reviews as the possibilities with this mixer are endless.
