I bought the tickets when the first batch came out... but I have a question. Capriati's set is extended, right, but why does alot of places say it's Sullivan's Room+Loft after party? Does this mean he's only going to play until 2 and then he switches a venue or is it the same place?

Why did you guys select Sullivan Room as the venue? Nice little space but not for Capriati.

What is going on with the Capriati tickets? The unavailability and sell out doesnt seem to add up. To me and all people on this post Capriati is huge and this is a very big deal. But hes not a Global superstar, yet. Sullivan Room is a reputable well established venue, not a small private basement with very limited capacity. There are events going on every night around here with much bigger names, not being SOLD OUT so quickly and not being so limited and exclusive. I apologize if Im wrong, but does any one else get the feeling this is all a marketing technique so the promoters can jack up prices and make more money. If so, there are a lot of true Capriati, true music fans out there who are really going to get screwed. That would be very disappointing, Im sure Capriati will feel the same way.

@ CarstenS more info regarding the afterparty will be announced later on. Eric Harary is playing before Capriati at Sully - and Subfractal & Gino Santos will be playing with him at the afters.

@digibeach we originally put tickets on sale for $15, 20 and then 25 if you look on wantickets where the tickets were originally on sale. $30 is the final amount, which is not a high price for Joseph Capriati.

I thought same way about the tkt release with digibeach. Kept looking for the early bird and 2nd release but never posted in RA. And found out the tkt was selling at Wants tkt when 4th release((

There will be a limited amount of tickets available at the door - however it is highly recommended to purchase them in advance to guarantee/speed entry.

how can we find out more about the AFTER party, should we RSVP?

if you look back for their events from weeks past, has the rsvp email

Also, pricier than usual, but understandable, and they do nica APs so doing it anyway.

Would be nice if there was a little discount for people going from Sully to part 2, so hoping to be pleasantly surprised, we'll see
