Terrible news, best club in The City, hands down.

so, so sad to see it go. so many great nights spent there. so many fun parties thrown. i mean sammy and i had modeselektor in this 100 person spot... the best sound and vibe in the city.

That Modeselektor was a great party at 222.

Agree this was probably the best club in the city for techno in many ways.

Marcellus Pittman, John Osborn, Jordash vs Beautiful Swimmers, Mark E vs Function, Seth Troxler, Cassy, Lee Burridge, Tin Man, Pan-Pot... The list could go on and on. Really sad seeing it go.

222 was my favorite club in SF. Glad I got to throw parties there in my short time here. I will truly miss this place

so where else can we go to listen to techno?

TIAGO @ no way back... Morgan Geist too. As well as the more recent Justin V and Beautiful Swimmers shows from last summer. Good nights with great people. 222 was the best. One of the few places in SF that avoided club cliches and VIP crap. Plus a perfect sound system and nice people!
