| #9 / Fri, 22 Feb 13 12:11 Excellent interview. Sasha was uncharacteristically talkative, and I attribute that to the great questions and sense of narrative the interviewer injected.

GU:02 being the most underground of them all. Their old message board was the best ever.

| #16 / Fri, 22 Feb 13 23:29 ^ yes the original global underground forum was a laugh. so many nutters and some of the gu dj's posting incognito. nick warren (buzz808) im looking at you
I'm not really feeling the music any of the former 'prog' dudes are playing these days due to musical tastes diverging but I still think sasha and digweed are legends and will always respect them for turning me on to electronic music back in 97/98 when I was still a kid

The most immaculately mixed compilation of all time. A true emotional journey. Nothing can ever come close to that mix.

| #24 / Sat, 23 Feb 13 14:33 I guess I'm in the minority but it was his exclusively produced tracks in Wip3out for Playstation back in '99 (I'm 28 now) that got me into Sasha and still consider myself a huge fan since.

Don't get me started on Chris Lake who used to produce amazing stormers in the early 2000s to bottom feeding cheesehouse nowadays.

| #26 / Sat, 23 Feb 13 17:24 His Renaissance & Northern Exposure mixes with Digweed pretty much set the benchmark for dj mixes. I loved his early stuff as B. M. Ex too.

Don't get me started on Chris Lake who used to produce amazing stormers in the early 2000s to bottom feeding cheesehouse nowadays. I think that's one of the reasons I hold Sasha in such high regard. He was bigger than pretty much anyone way back when; up there with Oakenfold, Van Dyk, et cetera. But unlike many, including the aforementioned Lake, he never compromised to become commercial. Like or dislike his music, you have to respect his longevity within an underground scene that's beyond fickle. Likewise with Digweed.

| #34 / Sun, 24 Feb 13 15:58 Yeeeeee. Well done. I prefer the San Francisco one. I always think that but a lot of people really bum the Ibiza one. I do like the Ibiza one too though obviously. And I prefer Heaven Scent to Xpander. I prefer Rabbitweed to Heaven Scent though. I also really like Arkham Asylum too. To conclude - I bum all the above mentioned tunes/mixes.

I haven't connected with his music since the late 90s, but he's never done anything I would term "embarrassing" in the way Oakenfold and many others did, and he certainly had the opportunity to.
