Hope it ain't a washout like last year!

That's why these small one day festivals work though. A bit predicatble maybe, but 4 very strong acts playing longer sets is ideal. Look at the other events that Sven/Cocoon do - Love Family Park, Green & Blue. The line-ups change very little year on year and are almost the exact same formula each time, but they sell out and are excellent events.

I concur, the most mildly appealing one they've announced in the 5 years.

Last years sound system is probably one of the best iv ever heard at an outdoor party! Totally worth it, just pray for no rain!

thats basically what i meant, the likely crowd type puts me off a bit tho.... plus very weather dependent as to if it would be money well spent or not. and you dont get any change from £50...

props on the sound tho, something many UK events could learn from i'd imagine

I used to go to a lot of Cocoon events and they did get a little bit boring after a while to be honest. Green & Blue was good fun though.

Still Sven and on his day Ricardo are worth anyone's money.

Craig Richards easily the best thing on that line-up and will no doubt be on first. I'd like to think i might give it a go but will wait to see what the weather is like nearer the time.

i wont be there this year, but its always been a decent event. The line up last year was the best yet i thought, just a shame it pissed it down so much

Thanks everyone for the honest feedback. Unfortunetly last year another event had been on the week before which made the field hard to manage. This year we're back to our usual spot with plans in motion to ensure we're ready for whatever the weather brings!

It was great to see how much people are involved last year though, we had well over a 100 people down from all different music events in Leeds the night before the event helping shift tonnes of wood chippings. Hats of to them all!

I've been the last few years - 2010/2011 were amazing days - best days of the respective years.

2012 was really good but the monsoon put a dampener on things, pardon the awful pun, we left early to dry out. Fuck knows why I didn't take an umbrella or anything useful though I did actually believe that Sven had magic powers to be able to prevent rain. I guess he was having an off day.

Without doubt I will be once again making the trip from Reading to Leeds for this - Craig, Ricardo and Sven are my 3 favourite DJs over the last decade or so. And I will be prepared this time if there is any chance of rain.
