they had a sniffer dog at the entrance, which i have to say did catch quite a few folk. quite a lot of security guards inside the venue too. hopefully this is just a temporary measure

| #16 / Tue, 26 Feb 13 20:10 sankeys stopped being worth a look in a long time ago. aside from the very rare occasion theres rarely a line up worth going to anymore. if they want more credibility book someone worth seeing . theres a lot of talented local guys in Manchester at the moment and there are smaller nights putting on consistently good acts, i'd rather watch them at a small venue with a small but switched on crowd than go there to be surrounded by bright orange meatheads with shaved chests
