Yup, at least the clips I heard on soundcloud made me wonder why he is playing safe. Night Slugs has such an amazing sound and he clearly is trying to fit into an idea/image that he probably formed in his head or maybe he was constrained under taking into account the past releases. He could have added diversity to the Jack for Daze Series imo. His 'dub' version of KW Griff's 'Bring In the Katz' (one of my favorite things from last year) made me think that he would churn out better stuff in the future.
