Even WITH the 'danceable framework' there is little to note here. I honestly try to be objective when I'm checking out records but everytime I hear these sorts of vocal samples I fucking cringe. It's like a really cheap, half-assed tool used in an attempt to make a track deeper and more layered than it actually is. Take them away and you're left with absolutely nothing (this EP is a perfect example).

Sounds like 'Be Right There' was inspired by the Santone track of the same name.

I am shocked at how un-original the tracks on this release sound and rather surprised Kerri Chandler would release something as uninspiring as this on his own imprint.

A 3/5 is rather generous on behalf of the reviewer. A more seasoned reviewer would've given this a 2 or 2.5 at best.
