OMFG does anyone have worse luck than me??? I went to register my car this morning (after being turned away last week because of my fines) and my PINK SLIP HAS EXPIRED. I called my mechanic and begged him to do a dodgy and send through another one but he wouldnt do it (thats the last time I get the Toyota dealer to service my car!) also my friggen battery is dead so I have no idea how Im going to drive it to the mechanic tomorrow.
Thats not what Im pissed off about - IM NOT GONNA BE ABLE TO WATCH THE SOCCER GAME IN THE CITY TOMORROW

A bit of good news though, I admitted to the NRMA that I have lost my licence due to speeding and they didnt increase my insurance premium.. its still only $3100 for the year WOOHOO not

There was heaps of parking on Bridge St. the other night for the big screen at Customs House. I dont think many will be driving in.. coz they will just go straight to work afterwards.

It'll be all about driving a delivery van in for when the loading zones clock over at 6am

I got charged $45 for windscreen wipers. Thats the only thing that didnt pass my pink slip... and it cost $15 PER windscreen wiper and $15 for its labour. Thats not right.

My dad changes our wipers.

He can change headlight globes too.

He can also clean + detail over a sunday afternoon.

Dads are the best.

I think its sad that men these days arent built like Dads

My dad built our house for crissakes, AND he's not even a Builder.

He can landscape our lawns, AND he's not even a Landscaper.

He can build shelves/ tables and chairs, AND he's not even a Carpenter.

Boys today need to pick up their socks IMHO.

I can do all that, and I'm not a Dad.

But, my Dad owns a big construction company. With builders, landscapers, carpenters, concreters, and two full time mechanics to service the machines.

So if I need anything built, landscaped, repaired, whatever, my Dad makes one of his employees do it!
