According to Vice, Hot Natured, shufflers and Julio Bashmore's "Au Seve" are among the most likely culprits.

That'll be your "snapback" wearers then.

Pretty spot on IMO.

Expressions like house revival.

On behalf of all Americans, we thank VICE for making us the devils of electronic music.

Skittles thanks you as well.

Cheers~

To be honest, everything in that article is true. Like, down to a T

yes but the current trend will die off. the stuff that's being produced at the moment almost harks back to that time period. Which in my opinion will have a short lifespan

no shit! all trends eventually die off, then there's something new, its what happens in House and also the reason why its been around for so long.

Entertaining read, but those guys who wrote it seem to be the type that bash the shit out of everything then say "hey go check out my house mix, and oh ya follow me on twitter I have a pic of me without a shirt and talk about myself when I was in high school.” lol

They seem to be too into the scene and judging what’s going on. But I love people who have strong opinions even when I don’t agree. Why even argue or debate with them... just laugh about them while you’re dancing of shuffling at the next rebel rave.

I give them one thing, it's not a bad read, regardless of their role in the whole thing. At least they can write, which isn't a bad start. And it's not too difficult to see how they've come up it. It's the world we live in.

calling it a scene makes me cringe.

Those guys are d-bags at Vice but it was an entertaining read. Of course those hipsters at Vice bash everything because that's what hipsters do. I'm sure they wrote this article while wearing an ironic Justin Bieber t-shirt drinking a locally brewed beer.

Stick to writing witty articles about the Flaming Lips or how the National's new album sucks.

Well its what happens with everything. It might 'die off' in popularity, but only with the crowd that wasnt really that invested in it anyway.

You know, some of the people they spoke so poorly about are the people that got me deeper into electronic music.... I know the article really doesn’t mean much.... but I stand with everyone who says.... in the words of Kendrick Lamar "Fuck That"

Don't know why Vice winds people up so much.. it's ridiculously tongue in cheek and always a very amusing read. Even a few decent points made in this one I'd say

Its actually quite funny, and the comments about Hot Natured are scarily spot on.

Comparing hot natured as house music's version boyzone gave me a laugh... which one's Ronan Keating though?

There will always be an underground. Key thing to note that the people we love today will likely be sell out shit tomorrow but we will just have to find new ones to like
