| #1 / Mon, 24 Jul 06 01:46 I can clear one up for you.... while AM have wound up opersations, the two leading ladies have other projects in the pipeline and one of them is now working at the Espie. That great news means we will still have some good parties on down there.
Honkys has been on the cards for ages, just a matter I time I believe. The owners of the joint want to move onto a new project too, so they won't dissapear.
Mercat, well that was a finance thing mostly, but all the promoters who put nights on there will continue. Eg Plus One have moved their night to the Prince.
It's just another phase of evolution Pete.
Here's a bright side - Parklife on at Birrung Mar this year. New faces, good lineup and a different venue for Melbourne clubbers.
We'll see what Spring and summer hold hey?

future is going to be running a weekly night at the new revamped QBH too, should be interesting!
