| #51 / Tue, 22 Oct 02 23:54 another great game, despite us playing like shit at times.
i had a bit of a seaman esqu moment in goals, but this came down to two things: 1. i am not a goalkeeper 2. i have the hieght advantage of mini-me
oh well, when your up 4 goals or so it doesnt really matter.

| #68 / Tue, 29 Oct 02 10:38 Looking forward to the game with you lot. You're a pretty skillful team and have fitness on your side with an average age about 7 years less then the Rehab but we'd give you a good run for your money. I thought you were a little bit light on the physical side of the game with a few small, skinny players who were easily bustled off the ball at times. Lotsa flair, flicks, dummies, shimmies and stuff but it wasn't getting you anywhere at times. Forsaken is a good player but only has one foot so once he was pushed onto his right foot then he didn't do as much. Yer keeper looks good in his yellow jersey and has the Willie Mason look down pat! If I can get Strangeys (Home) team interested then we could have a 4 team round robin tournament one Sunday arvo (say from 4-8pm). There's Digweed FC, Dynamo Rehab, Strangeys team and Beegie's (ITM) team. You guys interested in that? Probably mid-December. There are some 6-a-side soccer fields in a ground in La Perouse that belong to Uni of NSW that we can hire. They have hockey goals available and are marked. Keep it social with beers and possible bbq etc

| #70 / Tue, 29 Oct 02 12:02 Spitch>> possibly one of the better ideas i've heard all year... Just get some big-breasted cheerleaders involved and i'm there p.s. you seem to know an awful lot about our squad... Looks like our legend has spread and we're getting scouted now Just quietly, isn't that no.10 a great looking bloke?

| #76 / Wed, 30 Oct 02 14:42 Looks like we'll be the whipping boys of the tournament... we played Strangey's team a little while back and they trounced us 13-6. Their record is played 11, won 11... 142 for and 51 against. Lets just say our record is a little more modest Just remember... when it comes to social tournaments like this one, it's not who wins, it's which team consumes the most beer afterwards- and for that we are 2-1 on with the bookies
