Freerange is a London house label bringing a musicality to dance via real instruments and a more improvised sound. Run by Jamie Odell (aka
Jimpster, Audiomontage), Freerange produce includes artists such as Square One, Milton Jackson and of course Odell himself. Pick up the yellow, red and blue editions of the Colour Series from previous years for a quick 101 of the label.
Freerange’s fourth compilation ‘Green 04’ is an unmixed label showcase featuring previously released cuts from Shur-I-kan,
Fred Everything &
JT Donaldson and Audiomontage. There are also remixes from Solid Groove,
Justin Martin and
Spirit Catcher as well as exclusive new tracks from Shimiko, Brett Johnson, Black Joy and Carl Finlow, aka Random Factor.
