Rising star Jamie Jones goes afterhours on the second ‘Get Lost’ compilation to be released in May.

“When the Rebels crew asked me to compile and mix the second part in the series, I also knew exactly what direction I wanted the mix to go,” says the Jones. “Which is basically, if I was invited back to yours for an afterparty, 'Get Lost 2' is what you would hear me play. If I was allowed on the decks.”

Judging by his recent resume, it would probably be a good idea to let Mr. Jones on your decks. The London DJ and producer has had a great year, coming from nowhere in 2006 to command regular DJ slots at Fabric, T-Bar and DC10 in Ibiza, and releasing big tracks on Freak N Chic (‘Amazon’, ‘The Capsule’) and Crosstown Rebels (‘Panic’).

His ‘Get Lost’ mix follows up on the first in the series, a 2CD effort from Crosstown bosses Damian Lazarus and Matthew Styles. A glance at the tracklist of 'Get Lost 2' reveals a well-selected blend of house and techno, with new Crosstown releases from Jennifer Cardini & Shonky, Nico Purman & John Keys plus popular house cuts from Larry Heard, Dennis Ferrer and Plasmik.

Jamie Jones is also on the road supporting the release over this month, with dates at the Miami WMC, Stink at the T-Bar and the Panorama Bar. Check RA Events for full details and lineups.

The mix arrives on CD and a limited edition 12" sampler featuring a track from Jamie Jones himself and one from Plasmik.
