Its finally hear, after months of speculation we can finally reveal the launch of the brand new bi-monthly club night, ‘Fling’ on June 2nd. Taking place at one of the finest underground venues in the country ‘The Loft’ in Maidstone, Kent.
Fling is the brain child of two of dance music’s fastest rising stars and best friends Luke Dzierzek & Nick Liousias. Having both carved out brilliant reputations as DJs and producers, the two decided they wanted to set up a record label, Fling Recordings (launching June 18th), a club night was the next logical step. However not wanting to just put on an average club night, the pair searched high and low on a venue with the right feel before deciding ‘The Loft’ in Maidstone. The Lofts warehouse feel and outstanding soundsystem make this the perfect home for Flings underground music policy of house, techno, electro and all things electronic.
Joining Luke and Nick (both residence at the night) for the launch of Fling at the Loft on June 2nd will be a guest we are hugely excited about showcasing, one of the worlds biggest djs Lee Burridge. bringing his distinct style of electronic house and techno that has rocked clubs the world over in the last 10 years, and has helped carve out a career that has seen him mix compilations of Global Underground and set up the legendary club night ‘Tyrant’ with Craig Richards, which held residencies at some of the Uk’s best clubs including Fabric, Cream. Over the past 18 months Lee has embarked on a mammoth world tour called 365. Touring each country for one month before moving onto the next country. Lee spent a lot of time on his travels making records with local producers, and the fruits of his labour are being released on his newly formed record label Almost Anonymous. Lee has remained a constant fixture in DJ mags top 100 poll ever since 1999, which is a testament to the amazing talent, and its no surprise that the likes of Sasha, Nic Fanciulli and many more see him as one of the best djs on the planet. Make no mistake Lee Burridge will rock this party like you have never seen before!
Residents for the night will be Luke Dzierzek & Nick Liousias Luke Dzierzek shot to prominence 18 months ago with the classic track ‘Echo’ on Silver Planet, as well as a string of high profile remixes for the likes of Renaissance, GU, Cr2, Bedrock, Junior and many more. In the last year Luke has toured the world impressing crowds with his outstanding Dj skills, from Brazil to Singapore and virtually every stop in between. Whilst Nick Liousias has been climbing the ranks very quickly indeed over the past 2 years having worked for massive labels like Cr2 & Silver Planet, as well as constant djing around the UK and Europe as well as collaborations with Luke such as ‘The Wrongans & Randoms EP’, which was one of the biggest tracks of 2006. With the announcement of the label and club night launching these two are set to go to the next level, watch this space….
