The latest 'Sessions' mix on MoS is a double CD of bigroom electrohouse from 'Yeah Yeah' remixer D. Ramirez.

D Ramirez is best known for his catchy rethink of Bodyrox 'Yeah Yeah', one of the biggest remixes of 2006. It's a remix that has generated a lot of work for the ex-progressive and tribal producer, with calls recently coming in from Roger Sanchez, Ferry Corsten and The Plump DJs.

Next up for Ramirez is a debut mix CD for the 'Sessions' series on Ministry of Sound. The double CD includes tracks from some of the biggest names in electrohouse such as Stephan Bodzin, Luetzenkirchen, and Oliver Huntemann as well as half a dozen of Ramirez' own singles and remixes.

An absolutely phenomenal mix. Where else do you find such a fusion of hard, grinding minimal house and electro house? This is definitely a D. Ramirez idiosyncrasy. D. proves he's just about a good a DJ as a producer (and he's an incredible producer!!!) with this CD - including a huge number of tracks which either he has produced, remixed, or signed to his own record label, Slave Recordings (monstrous UK big room electro sounds from Mechanique and U&K). The mix drives until the end, featuring a wall of sound - minimal transitions, tantalizing build-ups, and hardly a moment of silence. D. will mix in a second track up to 3 minutes before he cuts the first, and keeps a sense of seamless and building anticipation that will leave you scratching your head......
