I love this kind of music but saying it was 'live' seemed very far from the mark.
IMO, 2 guys hunched over laptops live is just plain boring to watch and to listen to. For all the tweeking done, they may as well just put the cd on.

| #5 / Wed, 06 Jun 07 04:32 He didnt fare too well in Melbourne... laptop died and he was touring without any backups or emergency CD's. His set in Brisbane was 50% loved and 50% hated. The trials and tribulations of the laptop performer who is bored of the music they play! I didnt like his album at all... its hinting at greatness for me but those sounds actually infuriated me so much i literally threw the album our the window at 120k's an hour driving from Sydney to Brisbane, along with somethign by Dextro which seemed the same. Maybe a farmer has found it and is having his/her mind blown in some remote township, maybe its rotting on the side of the road and i should be arrested for stupidly littering in this beautiful country. On a positive, theres no denying he's a talented guy and we all need to be challenged/surprised from time to time

| #6 / Mon, 11 Jun 07 00:42 Have heard him play live once, in fact strangely enough took some Photosfor  . I really like his tunes, but I did seem to find on the night I would leave the room and come back, it would seem like the same sound or song would would be playing. He is around the same age as me so he's got a long way to go yet. Defo one I will be keeping my eye on

| #8 / Sun, 22 Mar 09 18:00 I really enjoyed the album, and for one I am glad it wasnt the techno thing. Was a refreshing change. Also saw him play at a HorsePlay Records party and he was amazing.
