Hello..

Just back from Monegros.. flew in Friday.. arrived back to Dublin last night at midnight.. Ive a job interview this afternoon so had to get home! All I can say is do not go to Monegros thinkin you can enjoy some Spanish sunshine and meeting some cool hijos de puda.

Its the closest you'll get to electro heaven and hell depending what you're idea on heaven or hell is.. you'll find yourself in both.. the crowd is a right mix of serio sound boys and girls.. suppose cos I speak spanish it helps to yap and get sorted.. and then theres the tops off who has the best steroid induced six pack watch how many drugs i can take and stop staring at me or ill have ya. Nice.

Getting to it takes 4 hours from Barce on a coach full of hooilgans.. arrived at 8pm all 30 of us from Dublin fairly excited and fairly fresh as per our pics which ill send through to you guys and coming back at 2pm the next day.. stampede for the bus.. we were all a pack of mutants as per our pics!

Put it this way, I've done Monegros, survived, still coming to grip with all the madness we all went through.. I got lost for 3 hours, and what I remembered, I actually had a blast and met some real sound chicos y chicas. But, i can safely, say, at my age, that has got to be it on the crazy horse front.. and if anyone else out there is loking for 1 seriously how much do you want it techno and can you go til 2 in the dessert.. then Monegors is defo the place to go... or not!!!!!!

Realy wood like to go one of the days but i already bought a ticket for Defected in the house Juli 20 th at Ostend .Maybe i should just go to 10 days to ;-)

And that for an indoor festival in mid-summer.
Yes, indoor........, But don't forget: G(h)ent is eleven days the decor of The 'Gentse Feesten' (also outdoor). That means that the whole city is havin' a ball during that period. So not only in Vooruit, but everywhere there is a splendid vibe. Check it out. And Prosten: Just go.

If you are in Italy 20-21 July (in Florence) this festival is good too.

Since 2000 we are spreading this project based on new technologies and languages.
Started with three editions of Arezzo Wave Nights (2000/2003) and basically as the electronic area of Arezzo Wave Love Festival (now Italiawave Festival), Elettrowave is celebrating the V edition under this name.

A new conception of festival is born, starting from the location, the ex Longinotti’s factory near the reinassance’s hub: Florence.
Our program for the 2007 is wide and divided in two big areas:
The first, Street Wave area, outside the factory, will host from 7:00 p.m to 2:00 a.m the best names and performers in hip-hop, dubstep and drum’n bass…and all for free!
The second area is inside the factory where you’ll find the Theatre and the Club (from 11:00 p.m to 7:00 a.m).
The Club is the natural consequence of the electronic music of the last 15 years, Ame, Zip, Noze, Onur Ozer, besides the italians Squillace and Figoli are only some of the big names you’ll find there. In the Club also the next promises of the electronic culture choosen by Levi’s® new music from the original, and the winners of Elettrowave Challenge.
The Theatre is a huge space where the BIP-Building Interactive Playgrounds’ interactives installations make the perfect frame for Cassius, Alex Gopher, Jimi Tenor and Kabu Kabu, Matthew Dear’s Big Hands, Datarock and King Britt, the international headliners.
Elettrowave is not only music…or better…there’s much to discover around music, starting from Qoobshot a range of video choosen by qoob.tv, Touchdown!, workshop promoted by BIP to learn to to re-think and expand the language of physical interaction for gaming and, if reality it’s not enough, we offer you a Second Life, in fact Elettrowave will be in the net, hosted by Second Life with Second Wave on the 4DAngels Island.
