| #4 / Tue, 24 Jul 07 01:40 diggers has his kiss100 show that goes out to dozens of stations around the world, that was podcasted for a few months last year(??), and running longer than i can remember so i dont think he's trying to catch up in that dept.
also - i don't think 1 mix cd every 6-8 months is that much and this 'quantity' is nothing new. 2005 he released layered sounds 2, fabric 20 and azuli choices comps.
it's a dj's job to mix, why would 3 cd's in 12-18 months be hard going? there's enough music to go round at the moment.
...on the other hand maybe he's tied to pumping out half a dozen compilations for renaissance and he's trying to get them out of the way?

I should also refrain from posting until I've had a decent meal in me. Don't bump into me in a dark alley on an empty stomach!
And for the record, Digweed (and Sasha, obvs) were the fellas to get me into electronic dance music in the first place. I understand that DJs change their styles over time, but I get this sense that he's just cherry-picking other people's taste these days. Maybe I'm completely wrong; wouldn't be the first time.

i mean no one has made that long a production before villaobos. i mean of course not.
what's even more laughable is the amount of microhouse bandwagon jumping sheep in this thread slagging off a production and mix album of which they haven't even heard. oh i forgot, Digweed isn't trendy at the moment.
