After your racist remarks in the Digweed-thread, I don't give a fuck what you think. Grow up, get a lfe or just shoot yourself. http://www.residentadvisor.net/forum-read.aspx?id=31806&page=2

Have you heard it? Seem to be putting down releases before they're even out.

But have you heard them? Your unconstructive critcism to it being "gay" sounds like you haven't.

dude, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but at least put some thought into it before you go blarting it all over the place. "He's a good dj live but the cd looks poor?" why exactly? Labelling something as "gay", or slating tracks just because they are old doesnt exactly make for a reasonable opinion, let alone one that everyone is going to respect.

| #15 / Tue, 31 Jul 07 17:53 Do you mean gay as in 'they're a bit Hi-NRG influenced', or gay as in 'a bit crap'? (I've heard people refer to crap things as being gay)
I think Ewan would be the first to admit it if you thought the former, if you think that well-constructed old school extended remix versions of dancefloor electro-pop is crap, well, you're entitled to your opinion.
But I'd be interested in hearing what you're into.

| #18 / Fri, 03 Aug 07 08:15 can't believe the feist dub ain't included. alongside the chemical bros dub, probably his best remix. the flaw's remix is missing too.
i've got 95% of these already, was hoping for something more - alternative versions or hard to find remixes (like feist). ah well.

| #19 / Fri, 03 Aug 07 09:45 erm, it's a retrospective / best of dudes. so yes, of course some of the tracks have been out for (up to 5) years and a few conscientious people may already have everything here already (thanks for the support). that's kind of the nature of something like this. best ofs tend to reward those who come a bit later to the game... i will try and do a compilation of best of the 6 years I'm about to make next time...?!!?
more info: it is entirely unmixed, the chems dub is on the 12" sampler, along with the 4/4 dub of train (which was pretty hard to get hold of) and cortney which has so far only been a download. i couldn't fit everything on so there are things that I really like that aren't there (no flaws, no erlend), and it was tricky to choose. in an effort to narrow things down, I decided not to put any collaborative stuff on; which means, yes, no feist (boo) and no black strobe and various others. another time.
cheers, ewan
ps if 'gay' as in influenced by hi-nrg in places, then yes, OK. fine. if 'gay' as in the idiot schoolkid / chris moyles synonym for crap then you just forfeited your right to an opinion.

| #20 / Fri, 03 Aug 07 12:56 Looks pretty freakin sweet to me.
I'm all over this sh*t.
Dizzyingly great remixer, although it is true, I would have loved a few new tracks. The one played on Digweed's kiss100 show about 2 weeks ago was mind-bending.
high kudos.
