other contenders: Villalobos' remix of Beck, Carl Craig remix of "Give it up" (but the fact that he was so overplayed kind of killed it for me).

but seriously, that remix is top notch. not sure if it's #1, but definitely top 10.

this could've easily been a top 50, a couple of my fave remixes were prosumer's remix of tell 'em in the city and tensnake's remix of oscuro claro. between the two of them i would rather hear shackleton's original too. what do the winners get ?, i'm guessing a whole lot of nothing.

what about the St Germain remix?
should it have made the top 5? After all it was probably the most hyped remix of the year even more so than the Blackstrobe remix. What do you think?

it wasn't given a proper release - there were only whites I think

DJ T's Lucky Bastard (Prosumer's Me&Me Remix)was one of my fav too.

I know the remix was released in December 2006 but I discovered it in 2007 and have been since so much into it that I had to include it in my top remixes of the year.
Indeed one of the best remix ever!!!!
