| #8 / Sat, 22 Dec 07 19:34 Audion was mental in May @ Fabric. For me best live in Fabric this year. Samim was great in July @ Fabric too. Emotional live from Gui Boratto in August @ Plastic People. And a special mention to Underworld who were amazing at The Roundhouse in October.

Booka Shade is here. Hard to compete with the production of Daft Punk, but Dear, Cobblestone, Justice, Simian Mobile Disco, Hot Chip et al all did great things in '07.

Posts / 583 RA Since / Jul 2007 | #10 / Sat, 22 Dec 07 22:03 I usually find live performances to be extremely boring. I havent been impressed by any of the ones i saw this year (Boratto, Alter Ego, Dusty Kid, and countless others...). The only one i actually enjoyed was Blackstrobe (honest!)...

Piss off!! Saw Booka Shade twice this year and they were good, but they don't even compare to the massive, pyramid, neon lighting and visual explosion of robot rock, dished up by Daft Punk. I also rate Trentemoller higher than Booka Shade aswell. BTW, where is Trentemoller RA?!?!?

| London’s world-renowned fabric nightclub is a juicy peach? A crisp apple? No,an onion. It has many layers and a soundsystem of such clarity that it’s been known to bring people to tears.......

I'd been waiting to see hardfloor live for a while, ever since they didn't show up at the Orbit Birthday party (Morley) years ago. On a totally different tip saw Wu-Tang in full line up mode at Manchester Apollo another dream come true.

| #23 / Mon, 24 Dec 07 01:20 Cassy live at Secretsundaze actually really impressed me...she did this live looping of her vocals that was haunting but awesome. Cobblestone Jazz also were sick at Sundaze...My live of the year though was Paul Ritch at secret location in NYC last week...my god what BASS. Had never heard of the guy till then but he really killed it! Hope he starts coming up more on people's radars.

New user Posts / 4 RA Since / Nov 2007 | #30 / Tue, 01 Jan 08 20:33 Battles is good when they're actually playing, but the vancouver show i saw they were very late to come on and they did their sound check in front of the crowd. then they played a short set and just before encore or 2nd set one of the guys came out and said they ran into tech difficulties and were done for the night. well then i found out they did the same thing toronto a few nights later. they're still awesome though.
trentemoller's live band was great too but i don't think he deserves to make this list *yet*. i'll give him another year or two and his tours will be some of the top no doubt.
