| #6 / Mon, 10 Mar 08 05:53 (Edited: 10 Mar 08 06:01) Whats doing with the "bonus beats"? He knows he's on a good thing with Titts, Scottie B and Bamabounce! On another tip, it seems like he's going with the SpankRock fabricLive setup and re-hashing a stash of golden oldies.. in which case I probably will hate on it and feel bitterly disappointed. Understandable that this is he's usual "cut'n'paste mixtape" steez (which could be a re-hash of the 80s Edition one?).. but I'll hold judgement for now.

| #8 / Mon, 10 Mar 08 07:29 But in a way, you'd think he'd have access to some amazing new tracks or exclusives.. not something that appears to be mixed by some college dude at a houseparty whos rummaged through his older brother's LP collection. quote: Posted by Talrinys ..old tracks sliced together nicely.
THIS is the realness. I s'pose it happened with Spank Rock, which I grew to appreciate.. it could well do with Yoda.

 | RA Review Taken totally out of context, a mix by somebody called DJ Yoda featuring Belle Biv Devoe, Salt N Pepa and Minnie Ripperton sounds like something your little brother would have cooked up with two tape decks on a rainy Sunday afternoon during his Star Wars phase circa 1993. But it’s 2008, and instead..

| #11 / Tue, 22 Apr 08 00:36 regardless of his technical skill, this mix sucked...not a good party mix, not a good listening mix, overly flashy and not in a good way.

Completely disagree really enjoyed this mix, best Fabric live since Marcus Intalex in my opinion.

| #13 / Wed, 23 Apr 08 15:04 I kind of agree with analord...too many cheesy moments on this one. The intro was so sick and got me excited and then...'blister in the sun'??? WTF??? ...a few sick tracks and tricks and then...a ska/brass band cover of Marvin Gaye (again, WTF?)...a few more sick mixes and then...'Its Tricky'...Its like the mix crashes and burns every 10 minutes.
But anyways, including Gangstarr was definitely ACE. Maybe this will grow on me some more but for now, I feel Craze's was better.
If Fabriclive really want to follow this direction they need DJ Ayres, Tittsworth, Klever and more of the Rub crew...

Next @ Lawrence | #14 / Wed, 23 Apr 08 15:27 Yep i agree. Really dislike this mix, crappy tune selection and inconsistent throughout. There's only so many times you can scratch a vocal snippet and expect it to be entertaining to the listener.
And why the hell did he include that tune at the beginning that is on a TV advert every second of the day...?

| #15 / Thu, 24 Apr 08 05:06 my goodness, I loved this mix and the sexual healing brass treatment was a highlight. One of the best FabricLive's in a while - up there with Diplo, Intalex, Tayo, and the best one, imo, High Contrast's.

Someone who is FINALLY on my wave? OMG! the 'bonus beats' were the best bit.. maybe because he uses Scottie B, Titts, Herve and Bamabouce? Hehe Listenable.. but bit too all-over-the-shop for me. Although the Sexual Healing track is great.. was a bit out of place in the mix. Suits someone like Mark Ronson more. Votes up for A-trak to do one.. he's played at Fabric recently... so maybe one soon!??

| #20 / Tue, 29 Apr 08 18:11 (Edited: 29 Apr 08 18:17) Yo mwah I totally understand! I still think after several listens this Yoda CD is wack. For me, I just can't get over the track selection! Blister in the sun? Its tricky? Salt n Pepa? And that f!@321 salmon dance song!? WACK. You need this one ppls: www.undergroundhiphop.com/store/detail.asp?UPC=TA001CD I think the A-track Fabric will probably be good as long as he doesn't turn it into a Fools Gold label showcase. We shall see in '09!
