I think this mix is actually good but, not excellent. I suppose "Fabirc 41 by Luciano" is much much better than this.

i actually prefer this mix to luciano's. much better flow.

Looking forward to this one. have missed the last 3 or 4 mixes as they didn't really grab me.

this is the best fabric mix of the year so far, in my opinion. the thing flows like nobody's business and i think it does a perfect job of capturing the ame aesthetic.

yeah it's not bad Yup it does flow but in regards to track's i like Luciano's better. it could grow on me though who knows.. time will tell. my 2 cent's

Best Fabric mix of '08 so far. flows like custard over over jam roly-poly, warm & comforting. Linkwood into Workshop4 is an aural treat & set me up for the rest of the mix.
Personally, far better then Luciano's which wasn't bad. (ooh bold statement).

I've already got it excellent compilation.

agree with Forphucksake 100%. have listened to it multiple times and it never loses its luster. i particularly like what they did with monologues, especially the moondog track.

yeah there is no way this doesn't blow luciano's mix out of the water. really really really good

this mix just sounds like autumn. i understand this one has been a bit polarizing, but i'm loving it so far.

does for autumn what luciano's did for summer. they capture the seasons so perfectly.

I'd agree with a 4 for this mix, there are some amazing tracks on here and some great mixes, but it certainly isn't perfect or as good as I was quite hoping for. Still an excellent mix and for me just, JUST, edges out Luciano's offering. Linkwood, Armando, Moondog...

My biggest bone of contention is that now when ever I play STL (easily my favourite track on the mix), everyone will think I discovered it from the Ame cd... That Innervisions lot, always un-secreting the secret weapons

doesn't make more than the sum of its parts for me, and i don't like some of the parts.
(would say the same about luciano's to a lesser extent...)

Oh dear 3.5? have we been listening to the same mix? Your a hard man to please. if this is a 3.5, SMD is 2.5 (was good but knowhere near on par with this).
still I cant be nit picking over half marks.

i relly like this mix, for me personaly , this one is much better than luciano's.. jens zimmermanns's track just amazing... i think 3/5 is not fair for this mix!!!

Actually it does fit! Let me explain myself, this mix to me sounds typical like house before a lot of people started to go "this is house, this is techno". And that LFO vs. FUSE track is very much of that period.

It's a bit unfair to compare it to Luciano's because, let face it, it's in a totally different league (it's basically the difference between using ironic crap like 'El Baile' for a monologue and using something as forceful as 'An American Poem'.) I doubt there will be a better mix-cd than this in 2008.

even though this is enjoyable, their ...Mixing CD still holds a very special place in my heart

Sorry i think this is quite average - i mean its fine but ive istened to it 3 times and have no reason to listen to it again.

This definitely gets better with repeated listening.. the way it should be. Mixes which smack you in the mouth the first time around never have any longevity. Have to put it up there with all time favourite Fabric's I think.
