Pleased to announce that there will be Stefan Stonker mix cds given out on the night.

Excitement is starting to build for this one...especially with the concurrent Atomic Art exhibition happening at the Front and the fact that it is 080808.

We have also sourced a TV for the event, which will be showing images of the Olympic Opening Ceremony, starting at 9pm. Whilst I'm aware that many, if not all, of you would be disturbed by China's human rights abuses in Tibet, and may be anti-olympics, (or thinking of boycotting the olympics altogether and not watching a moment of it), the opening ceremony happens to be at a very powerful time (8:08pm on the 08/08/2008). I have been reading some stuff today on the significance of this time.

Not only this but when one considers that all the world's attention will be on Beijing (and I mean like focused consciousness attention), the likes of which haven't been seen since the death of Princess Diana or 9/11, then we could be in for some fireworks in a universal connectedness sense. Given this, I think its important that we have a connecting portal to these events (whilst of course, enjoying a phat psy trance party and being with our friends). I also think it is important to note the fact that us watching the opening ceremony does not in any way endorse China's actions in Tibet (at least not in my mind). I feel that it is possible to separate out the two issues.

Hope to see you there.
