Frequent Trapez contributor Patrice Bäumel seems to have been patiently waiting to make his big move over the past few years, releasing a steady stream of tasteful, inventive tech-house stompers and garnering a fair amount of praise along the way. He held a successful r..

| #3 / Tue, 05 Aug 08 18:32 Obviously all the talk will be about Roar, but I think it's worth mentioning that Clair is actually an immense tune which perfectly offsets the demented nature of the A side. A perfect closer I'd say. Nice one Patrice.

| #5 / Tue, 05 Aug 08 19:19 Agreed - nice review, nice record. I'm not entirely convinced, however, that calling this a 'tool' is the right way to describe it. If anything, I think the beatless nature of it makes it more ideal for home listening!

| #8 / Thu, 07 Aug 08 10:41 emm something in the Roar sounds way familiar to me - I feel like this sound has been done to death in minimal - this one certainly puts crush/delay off-limit. I like his trademark stuff better like the 2 other tracks here. This said, I'm sure Roar will cause uproar on most dancefloors - the whole thing is like the 6min-long breakdown.

| #10 / Wed, 13 Aug 08 21:37 The track is so good in the dance floor, and the people don't know what's really happening in their minds but they love it, and they go nuts, is more than a average dj tool is more like a secret weapon track, is Totally no good for star a set, and I don'T like to finish my sets whit the pace of a track like this one but i certanly enjoy to play it in the peaks of my mix after a filler song and before a Kick A** Track! Way to Go for Roar!
