| #9 / Tue, 09 Sep 08 15:33 The last RPR night at the end (which wasn't a DC10 party) was pretty disappointing I must admit. Technically impressive for sure but certainly not what I associate with a DC10 night in terms of fun. Lets hope this is a bit more along the lines of Ibiza nights.....

This comment caught my attention. I would have thought that RPR would disappoint BECAUSE they are technically inept even though their programming and track selection is great. Thats what my experience has always been with them - good music, terrible mixing.

| #14 / Sun, 14 Sep 08 17:58 I've heard disappointing things about RPR playing as a collective but I saw Pedro and Rhadoo go b2b at DC10 last Monday and they absolutely smashed it.
I'm going to this for sure.. and am very happy to hear that it won't be under any railway arches. London clubbing definitely needs to turn a corner in that respect.

Hmm... don't follow you there to be honest. I heard them at The End and I don't think anyone could call their mixing 'inept'. It was very fluid and razor tight, just quite boring soulless music. I heard Raresh at Eastern Electrics and there again the mixing was spot on, ditto Raresh/Rhadoo at Fabric 2 months back. Perhaps you've been a bit unlucky when you've heard them, or maybe you have some pretty high standards!!

Its a 'secret' becuase if you told people where it was they wouldn't go -plus you get the mystique of classic rave culture despite the fact that you're paying club prices for a below club standard experience.

Yeah they were grat that night in Fabric! I wouldn't call it soul less music at all but I suppose it's whatever floats your boat really!

| #21 / Sat, 27 Sep 08 02:00 I really like RPR Soundsystem, Rhadoo and Pedro have been my favourite DJ's for a long time, it's going to be a great night. g`n`b is right, the end sucks, that's probably why they are closing down, in January.. Anyway, I promissed myself never to set foot in there again, UNLESS RPR is playing  so ... I can hardly wait!

Yeah, sorry, I was only referring to that RPR night at the End 9 months back. Rhadoo/Raresh @ Fabric and Raresh @ Eastern Electric was awesome both tecnically, selection wise and crucially soul-wise

I know how you feel - i had that when i was working in the states for 2 months. Some good parties - but no crew. Not 100% sure I'll go to this, but we get a small gang together for this, you can come rave next to the speaker stack with us.
