'low frequency pissing match' is a little bit harsh - that is the point, after all. Exercised with quality (DMZ etc) there is nothing wrong with a bit of proper low-end business. But Pangaea's blend of anti-analogue but Burial-style dubstep is certainly finding favour in this house. Ths is a great 12'.

Agreed megawoogi. It seems likle every reviewer of non-wobble dubstep feels obliged to point out how macho/dull/uncreative the wobble/bass-driven sound is. Fair play, some of it is horseshit, but lots of the currently in-vogue techstep is horeshit too. Give up the token wobble-bashing please RA. It's getting boring. (This release is immense, BTW.)
