| #6 / Fri, 14 Nov 08 23:03 quality idea, will definately be voting in this. as said above - it'll be good to see a dj poll not decided on how many fans a dj has - or people that simply vote because they clicked an e-flyer telling them to do so!

| #7 / Sat, 15 Nov 08 01:26 Nice work At least really talented djs and producers will get some recognition in the form of a poll.Though we know how good they are. I read on a trance forum the other day and to quote them: "Who the hell is Ricardo Villalobos,he sounds like a cartoon character" They are missing so much from their musical lives,

| #8 / Sat, 15 Nov 08 12:31 Yeah I'll be voting, always interesting to see who's flavour of the year. Its a bit of fun but it no different from any other polls.
Bring back contributers one along with the users one for '09. Ooh Ooh Ooh or get the DJ's to vote amongst themselves!

| #17 / Tue, 18 Nov 08 22:21 DJ's best DJ would be good in theory, but the reality is they will all vote for their mate or someone off their label. you only have to read the DJ Mag Top 100 issue and they are all at it

Mine too... Overhyped IMO. Controversial, I know. Would be good to see a lesser known DJ win it...

Does it make a difference? Is it not about the end-product, aural pleasure and smiling faces??!!

That's your opinion, i respect that, but when i must choose between 2 DJ's that are producing the same result when they are DJing, but one of the 2 plays mp3, then i will choose heavily the one who playes the classic way.. You're right when you say it's about smiling faces.. but for me the technic also plays a part in my choise.. it stays more impressive and challenging DJing like that. But that's my opinion..
