I would choose either Astral Travelling OR Glenn Miller - In The Mood OR Eric Idle - Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life.

Chloe picks one of her own.Self indulgent to the last breath.

Strange concept of a comp but something we've all thought about.

Id love Aphex Twin "Girl Boy" at my funeral just to watch from the after life at the reaction in the church when the madness of that song kicks in!!!Beautiful tune though

I think more of these guys should be thinking about the state of church soundsystems, which is closer to "clock radio" than "fabric main room". Supernature ain't going to sound good like that...

Anyway, beatless mix of Strings of Life ftw, clearly.

Yes, yes, yes!

London’s world-renowned fabric nightclub is a juicy peach? A crisp apple? No,an onion. It has many layers and a soundsystem of such clarity that it’s been known to bring people to tears.......

I always liked the idea of having Sid Vicious' version of 'My Way' played.

Stereo MC's - Deep Down And Dirty

"Feel Up, Feel Up"
Hahahaha, cool. Nice idea that. Reckon I'll invest.

When all else in life fails.....there is always the Sub Club.
Nova Nova - Plaid (Aqua Bassino dub)
Paul Weller - Thinking of You (acoustic)
Roy Ayers - Everybody Loves The Sunshine
Jill Scott - Slowly Surely, original mix (Spen & Karizma mix for the afterparty in the Sky;) )

& maybe the last 2 minutes of Man in the Mirror as well

Very interesting thread and a good one to think about...

I would be torn between...

Beatles - Strawberry Fields
Apparat - Fractales Pt 2

Nathan Fake - The Sky was pink (James holden rmx...) sigh...

Trentemoller - Moan
Faith no more - RV
Goldie - Inner City Life
Pink Floyd - Wish you were here..
Plaid - Eyen
Radiohead - Lucky - although that might cause suicides in the church

I might have to be a cat to hear all of these... 9 lives innit.. and i bet half this list will change in a years time. ok, i'll shut up now

Golden Brown seems like a wierd idea, unless you are/were really into heroin...

I was at an alcoholic family members funeral and they played 'Hotel California', seemed an odd choice to me...

Anyway I'd go for "Mix Factory - Take me away (XTC come hard mix)"

Yup, me three...although I think it might be a bit overly depressing for the crowd...

Great idea. Enough to reestablish Get Physical's creativity credentials?
