just listen to his fuse mix then you'll understand that he respects al the producers but he lifts it up a few levels higher!

Wow! Very impressive track selection! Joris Voorn is a very good dj and he has nothing too prove . Like Richie hawtin or the wihnomy bros he wants to explore different roads.Why not? He's certainly not the one I' ll blame for killing vinyl industry. Seeing Secede and Kettel in this selection make me happy!

Im pretty sure it will be similar to what Hawtin does except having heard Joris Voorn dj before I will nearly guarantee its 1000 times more interesting than what Hawtin does.

I would argue there is a lot of point!!who knows what can be created from/ born out of something else - nothing has to stay as it is....and it still compliments the artists to use their work....I can't wait for this!! gick

While Hawtin sort of paved the way for the DE9 micro-use of tracks, Voorn has totally his own take on things, and you get something completely different from it.
As for what's the use? Maybe you need to go back to Techno 101 class and learn what it really means to be a techno DJ! All of the artists on this mix would be more happy that he'd use 10 seconds of one track, than someone else using 10 mins in a boring end-to-end styled mix that most other genre's love.
Everyone should def catch Joris live, his DJing these days is super (not that it hasn't always been super! Man has extreme talent!!).
