One of the reasons why contemporary European deep house is so bland is that it's made by producers who until recently were churning out equally formulaic minimal techno and who have little understanding or feeling for house music's roots. It means that the productions are full of watered down beats..

Hmm...

three and half seems harsh.

although, i like/agree with what has been said about the blandness of European deep house.

not that this one is bad, but i was expecting something a little different after the first 4 releases.

I agree with Scott (Ferrispark)... 3/5 is harsh
It's a good record and deserve a 4/5 above all if compared to some other stuff reviewed recently. However the reviewer is reasonably right about the nowadays new deep house trend.
European deep house is getting boring like minimal and I agree with that ... it's definetely because of the same formula caused by lack of personality and little knowledge. Maybe better to get back to old school gears instead of having 50 gigas of plug-ins etc. ?????? PEACE
