Here's the scoop, so big some of the DJs featured don't even know about it!

The full lineup has been revealed for War of the Worlds 2049, set to rock Altona to its foundations on September 20. The promoters still have more surprises in store though, with residentadvisor learning of the addition of The DEA (Live) since the following names were released seconds ago!

Here are the DJs currently on the bill to fill six mega arenas:

I'm holding out for a 2nd show by the Hacker. I'd really like to see him, but i just dont find myself enjoying parties at Altona. Not my favourite venue by a long shot, and I always wind up just enjoying the locals I like best or who surprise me in the side rooms.... Viva L'Amour, Cecille, Dave Pham, Damian Laird, and the breaks crew... Phil, Brewster, Kendachi, ... Lynt is playing this year too

Bummer I miss Kazu

I would normally avoid Altona like the disgusting cess pit i personally believe it is.
But this is a pretty damn good line up.

and the DnB line up ain't bad..
and according to melbournejungle.com the elementz crew are swearing black and blue that the sound in the DnB room isn't going to suck... im holding you guys to that
If nothing else they've created a really interesting and diverse lineup for the night...
but its still Altona *Shrugs*

Check it out for yourself. WOTW is the last of a dying breed of party events that used to be what Melbourne was about. I fuck'n love you mate, but negativity like that is absolute bullshit. New venue licensing & conditions will ensure many of the previous problems with this venue are dealt with anyway.

This year is going to be fucking massive!! We expect up to 6000 punters and if last year is anything to go by, it will sell out. The lineup alone is the biggest and I feel the best so far.... local talent reprazentin' and then some!!

I've waited a long time to see the likes of Kittin & Hacker come to Melbourne.... no one is going to spoil it. Period.

oooooh, just in case anyone sadly didnt make it last year I need to tell you that the breaks room on the sand was a party in itself, the same dudes rocking it alllll night long...

only ever missed the first war of the worlds party, and wont make that mistake again... this is the party where you see dudes you havent seen out in years, def in my top two indoor parties every year

Altona may not be the bees knees, but this party takes it a new level for sure. One of the permanent residents on my calander!

To be honest Altona isn't my favourite venue but the last WOTW was one of the best parties I went to last year.
The fact that Speedy J is playing live, Miss Kittin and the Hackor DJ sets, Kazu on Final Scratch plus the AWESOME local line-up make for a killer party
