What do you mean? Not having a go, just interested. Is there anything wrong with installing yourself as a resident DJ of a party you've played a part in promoting throughout the years? They've always promoted well and can't be easy securing an outdoor venue fortnightly, they've thrown some great parties throughout the years and bookings have always been on the ball too. If Giles was a toss DJ I could get your point, but think he's a stand-out London-based deep house/techno DJ (and promoter - one of my faves alongside Ben Watt). Need more of them as far as i'm concerned, it's pretty dispiriting to walk into bars/clubs advertising themselves as deep house and they're all playing the same Livio & Roby (yawn.) records.
