Ah you can feel the love here....Two choices,one comp,alot of Cocoon quality.

lot of digs at Dubfire, everyones entitled to their opinion but no one can deny the influence he had on Cocoon last year.
Alright some of them were collaboratons with Huntemann but 'Grindhouse (remix), Diablo, Dios, Jamaica (remix)Emissions, Ribcage, Spastik (rework.
Also I thought he se at space opening was very good and you could tell by the other DJs reactions behind the booth that they thought the same.

Anyone know when this comes out?

I listened to " Ali Dubfire " cd this morning on my way to work, I must say this mix is spot on, great track selection & typical " Ali Dubfire " sound.

Walking into Amensia this summer for Cocoon lifted all the pressures of life of my shoulders. Villalobos and Luciano back to back till the early morning was perfect.

Wouldn't normally take an interest in Dubfire but I'll pick up for my love of the DICE!

As for me, Dubfire's part is so much better than Loco Dice's (and that's really surprising), the latter seems dull .

I saw Dubfire play a few years ago with Deep Dish and he came across as a guy who loves himself a little to much.

So funny that everyone tells that Dubfire is a poser and he's not a good dj, but last year for everyone Dubfire was god. Simply this year his dark techno is not fashion like Loco Dice tribal sound. Those guys are two great producers, respect for them and for what they achieved in their careers.

Seriously. For those of us who can't get to amnesia this year. This mix seems to be a great outlet for the cocoon crew to reach us by... as for the dubfire bs all you are flaking bout. Rethink it. He totally belongs on the set. Respected by sven himself and all those in miami or ibiza 08 last year, by bringing us dark meaty chops that are true to the cocoon sound without the glamour of his DD days... I also think its a hotter on point mix than dices one ... goes to show you that proof is in the pudding

Also check ot the great coverage of ten years of cocoon ibiza in julys mixmag. Its going to be a collectors piece.

dubfire is a great mix but Loco Dice is off the hanger!!! He starts as he means to go on. Pounding!!! The Cocoon night@Amnesia mix from last week was just a carbon copy of cd2 f.y.i folks. Top compilation mix.....

Dubfire is a great producer, but it doesn't take away the fact that he is a poser behind the decks.

Finally listened through the whole Dice mix and it just doesn't do it for me. The first 40 minutes or so just didn't have the right flow: every time I thought "here we go", it'd drop back. The Lab 01 is practically on continuous playback in my car, but I don't think this one'll be returning to my player very often. I wouldn't call his mixing in this section anything special either.

That said, starting with Marco Carola's track, my previous criticisms are completely overturned. Here, my expectations were fully met and possibly exceeded.

Continuing to Dubfire: more energy, but not a very interesting mix. I don't understand how so many people seem to think of him as original; sounds to me like a slightly proggy version of a set that Adam Beyer or Pär Grindvik would do.

Why is Dubfire a poser? Please explain.

One of the ways I quickly judge how much I like a mix is by simply looking at the number of new tracks that I haven't heard that I consider highlights. In that regard, this mix excels in every way. I haven't been a big fan of Dubfire's stuff to this point, but his mix has won me over. Fantastic selection and mixing. Loco Dice's mix is also extremely fun with a different vibe as the reviewer noted. Cocoon continues to rule the roost!

This hating of Dubfire is ridiculous and boring.

Vlad Caia's track is a real discovery.

Cocoon Ibiza. Counting the days until next year . . . . there's just something about that island!! =)

So far this year too date i've seen Dubfire twice and i go out most weekends too gigs and both times i seen him once in space ibiza and here in tripod dublin they were too of the best sets i've heard this year . . .

And as for the Ten Years of Cocoon mix Dubfire's cd1 is alot better than loco dice's . . . Paul Ritch - split the line Dubfire remix thats what i'm talking bout. . .

As for all you haters-->its a difference of opinion-->in my opinion Dubfire rules.

Been really loving the Loco Dice mix. Took me a few listens but now its got me by the throat. Some brilliant tracks on here and a real sweet flow to it all!

Dice's mix is top.. and T-dot represent with a track from Carlo Lio

Stand out CD's in my opinion. Really well crafted and some excellent tracks that whilst easily recognisably different, they kind of blend in together to create this rather beautiful world of music.

Hard stuff here...
