Good God! Hell's been on a roll lately! The cast of characters remixing ain't no joke either. And P. Diddy? Um...guess I gotta wait anxiously for this one. That track he did with C. Prommer and Henrick Schwarz was almost too good.

Some big names on remix duties. Should be a blinder release.

'I'm also into DJ's playing the whole record! Most producers still make records with a start and an end, so yeah... Let the music play!''

Exactly ! Dont forget thar ..... :-)

Hmmm, if you're going to release a 28 minute remix on two sides of vinyl, wouldn't it make more sense to have each side on a separate disk, so that you can mix the first half into the second half??

i'm all for 28 minute long tracks as long as it doesn't mean that 4 minutes worth of music are being smeared out across half an hour. curious about this one, though.

Um, 28 minutes WTF! That is a lame concept to me and even lamer expecting anyone to play the whole thing in a dj set!

agree with Patrick, to make those 28 minutes interesting it has to be more than just one song idea smeared across really - i personally would probably get bored and didn't like any of Ricardos extra-long tunes

I don't agree with the comment about playing records to the end, the whole art of being a good DJ is about the chemistry between how two records mix together surely??? Which you don't really get if you're playing something out to the end. Don't get it when a lot of big time DJs don't even bother to mix, like I saw Metro Area a few months ago and they didn't mix anything, and it led to the atmosphere being so flat.

Be interested to hear if this 28 min version is good, but you'd really need to be playing for 6 hours to play the whole thing in a set, if you were doing a standard 2-3 hour set a quarter of it would be gone playing this track!!!!

This would be news if P Diddy was still relevant.

Long mixes have always been a part of non radio oriented music.

Symphonies are very long works of music.

Just because pop made shorter songs standard doesn't mean there isn't
already a ton of longer music.

Just some facts and opinions.

why? you like listening to the same loop for 60 minutes? thats like a punishment.

im sure this wont be to die for, considering so many of radio slave's "tracks" are just a well-produced loop...they're useful but boring as hell..

been playing this one for a while now, Radio Slave's remix is sick!

b-ran, its not repetitive at all, its fresh and Matt keeps it interesting!

Highly recommended track!

DJ Hell jacked this from Felix & Diddys original acapella recorded in 2003. The original is here at Felix Da Housecat's blog (www.boppernation.com) Felix is furious, DJ Hell completely stole this...pretty certain Diddy didn't give Hell permission either.

He stole the bass line too... Sandee - Notice me.. (todd terry mixes) www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-AJQKbztTs and who cares who did those vocals... its wack anyway. Just some name dropping.. but at the end its all shit. Hell is nothing but a poser!

pure crap
and a 28 min long remix is just plain pretentious when the original is so thin

The Radio Slave remixes are crap, so boring man. I actually have a lot of time for Radio Slave but this is pish.

Funnily enough the Paul Woolford effort really surprised me.
