 | RA Review Sketch On Glass is the second EP from London-based production duo, Mount Kimbie, and right now—after the world has had ample months to digest the wonder of their debut 12-inch, fully drowning in the astringent twists and the hip-hop template the pair hang their dubstep influences off of—seems like..

| #3 / Fri, 31 Jul 09 11:55 Experimental, yes, but in all the experimentation I think they get lost, especially on 'Sketch On Glass' and a little bit so with 'At Least', it just feels like too much is going on and all these elements don't feel cohesive together.
However, 'Serged' and '50 Mile View' hit the spot. But the EP as a whole is no where good enough to warrant 4.5.

| #4 / Fri, 31 Jul 09 12:47 It is 4,5 cause its music which goes its own way, they trying to do something new. Compared to 99 percent of other D and B, Dubstep and Congohouse Producers, so they deserve this. Just my opinion

| #8 / Fri, 31 Jul 09 19:16 Imagine how hard to do a second ep, after maybe which everybody liked. They did very well with this second Lp, they have a sound of their own which is album compatible, which could crossover to rock listeners just like the Field ;-)

| #9 / Fri, 31 Jul 09 20:55 don't really see what's so great about these guys- basically sounds like a dub step imitation of four tet. some good tracks, but overall nothing terribly exciting or original.
