Redshape - The Dance Paradox cover
RA Review
Whether you know the identity of Redshape or not, his debut album will certainly reinforce his reputation and also surprise. The Dance Paradox delivers eight exceptional cuts, but it also uncovers a new face beneath the mask, carefully laying the foundation for plenty of future mystery and inventi..

absolutely one of my favorite techno albums of the last years. also the whole combination with acoustic drums and electronics seem to work out very good in techno like this. i can't pick a favorite track..
the artwork is a killer masterpiece.

Fantastic album - Reminds me of how and why fell in love with techno and house music.

Thank you Redshape!

I remember reading on another site before this was released that this album was a disappointment, but I couldn't be happier with it. A great album and definitely one of the releases of the year. As others have said, the artwork is great, too.

Although most shops/sites are sold out of the limited edition, they are still available here :

First vinyl I've ordered in over a year, since I just couldn't not have this in as physical a form as possible :)

(it feels wrong to get Redshape/Delsin tracks on mp3 format)

Every single Redshape track on Delsin 2.0 was boring, repetitive, undercomposed minimal bollocks.

I don't understand how anyone can rate such material so highly. And samples of this album suggest more of the same. Production can't hide the lack of melodic skill.

well, for starters, they probably listened to the entire album - in all probability more than once. Though I'm glad you came to a reasonable conclusion after hearing a couple "samples".

Your opinion is the wrong one Wave

I bought it. I like it. But its not the album of the century you making it. All tunes have more or less the same mood and i didnt see the new fresh point there. But just my 2 cents

By the way Model 500 Deep Space could be a great album for you guys who like this so much. ;-)

i heard the whole album several times and until now i find it boring too. maybe this will change some time in the future. but right now it seems, that your opinion is the wrong one, too, mr logan.

Redshape is one of my favorite artists of all time. Like some of the other commenters here... I usually think it's boring at first listen, yet something about these sounds just get stuck in my head and I end up spinning it again... and again and again.

This music reminds me of those 3D things that you have to cross your eyes to see... you either see it or you don't... and if you don't... I suggest you keep trying!
