| #6 / Tue, 06 Oct 09 16:59 Amazing artist, and amazing person. Saw him in an afterhours in Toronto. Brief party, but the energy was fantastic. I agree with his outlook on musical creativity and drawing influences from our immediate surroundings. Getting out of your realm can open your mind to great new ideas. Great interview, and great subject. Thanks!

| #10 / Wed, 07 Oct 09 08:05 yeah, really good interview. i really like osunlade's production. i have all of his albums and i must say each of them is a unique journey into house and jazz. i also remember listening to him djing at the ministry of sound. basically,he was the reason i went to london that time.and i tell you-it was superb. i would like to hear him and his yoruba people's band performing live. saw some videos and i loved it. he is one of those artists who never disappoint. and i'm looking forward for secretsundaze this sunday

| #14 / Wed, 07 Oct 09 20:21 i admit, i've never heard about him before, and now i'm very very ashamed of this. i just listened his album 'Elements Beyond', and must say, it's a true masterpiece. i felt my face fall during the listening, it's a beautiful and flawless journey, perfect house music. so it's better late then never, i gonna check out his other works too.

| #17 / Thu, 08 Oct 09 10:50 Something a lot of us(producers\\musicians) can learn.. creating what's within YOU, not comparing your work/sound to what's new or big out there... It's all about being yourself!
Thanks for the great and very enlightening interview.. I am so inspired as always!

| #22 / Tue, 13 Oct 09 05:14 Yeah, that was a great piece. Wonder how he decided to settle on Greece? Would love to get more on that story. I always associated Osunlade with Strictly Rhythm so I though of him as having followed MAW and others into relatively staid territory but just took a better look at whats been going on with him last few years and I'm pretty ashamed of that ! Won't sleep on his stuff anymore! Want to check out his new acoustic album.

| #25 / Sun, 25 Oct 09 13:28 It's very refreshing to see an artist who isn't wrapped up in chemicals, fame and ego but making music simply because that's just what he does. A very inspiring article!

| #26 / Thu, 05 Nov 09 02:10 Osunlade is a great artist but I wish he would stop faking the funk and just admit he's Afefe Iku. It's all good my friend. If this is not true can someone produce a photo of Afefe?
Two of the sickest Afefe tracks are the edits of Ruff Way and When Will You Leave. Major major bombs. Monsters.
